In September of this year, Dei Lynum was nice enough to do a story about our office working with professional athletes, for Comcast Sports Network. The story can still be viewed from our web site. At that time she was 7 months pregnant and her baby was in a breech position, which means the feet are coming out first. In a normal delivery the head comes out first. If the baby did not turn out of a breech position, a C-Section surgery must be performed. A special gentle chiropractic technique called the, "Webster Technique" taught at only certain chiropractic schools causes the baby to rotate into a normal position. Dr. Melissa has this training and utilized it on Dee. The results were amazing and the baby turned. In November Dee gave birth in less than 30 minutes to a healthy baby boy. Chiropractic care is important for your entire pregnancy as it keeps your pelvis and spine in line and helps to reduce back pain and an easier delivery. |
